Tech Lockdown, LLC. (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with the Screenshot Accountability iOS app.

Personal Information We Collect

  • Your email address and the given name of your child.
  • The approximate age of your child from Apple.
  • Screenshots when your child taps the "Access Internet" button.

How We Use Your Information

  • Your email address is used for communication about the service.
  • Your child's given name is used to provide context on the web dashboard.
  • The approximate age of your child may be used to prioritize our product roadmap.
  • Device screenshots are stored for up to 14 days in order to display them on on your web dashboard, which may employ AI-powered screenshot analysis.

AI-Powered Screenshot Analysis

For your benefit, we may use a private AI model to analyze screenshots on your device and/or on our own secure servers. Your screenshots are never sent to a third-party AI vendor (like OpenAI, Google, etc.). Your screenshots are never used to train any AI models. Your screenshots and the results of the AI analysis are for your eyes only.

We Don't Share Your Information

Third party cloud service providers store and process data on your behalf. They are contractually bound to protect it and cannot use it for their own purposes. We do not share your information with any third parties unless compelled by law. Additionally, if Tech Lockdown, LLC. is involved in a merger or acquisition, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email of any such change in ownership of your information.

Security of Your Information

The Screenshot Accountability iOS app and its associated Internet infrastructure is built using industry standard best practices to keep your data safe from hackers. These include, but are not limited to: password-based authentication, encryption-at-rest, Transport-Layer Security (TLS), and web application firewalls.

Compliance with COPPA

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not collect personal information from children under 13 without first obtaining verifiable parental consent. Our service verifies this consent through Apple's Screen Time API, which requires the parent or legal guardian, via their own authenticated Apple ID, to explicitly grant our app permission to function on their child's device. As a parent or legal guardian, you have the right to review the personal information we have collected from your child, direct us to delete it, and refuse to permit our further collection or use of your child's information. Your Data Rights and Choices

  • You can review and change your child's given name on your web dashboard. To update your email address, please contact us.
  • You can delete screenshots at any time from the web dashboard. To request the deletion of your entire account and its associated data, please contact us.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time.

Anonymous Data Collection

For the purpose of improving the app and ensuring a stable user experience, Screenshot Accountability collects a minimal set of anonymous data, including:

  • Device Type: The model of the device.
  • Error logs: These are automatically generated when the app encounters an issue. The logs do not contain any personal information and are used solely to help us fix bugs and improve app performance.
  • Installation events: We anonymously track app installations to understand overall usage patterns.

No personally identifiable information (PII) is included in these logs or events.

Anonymous Data Usage

The anonymous data collected is used only to:

  • Improve the functionality and reliability of the app.
  • Monitor and fix bugs or issues.
  • Understand general usage trends for future updates.
